Noteworthy 2020 Events

The community kiosk project was completed in December 2019. However, due to the late install dates in December, formal dedication ceremonies at each of the five locations are being postponed until spring of 2020.   Dedication ceremonies for the kiosks are as follows: March 27, 2020 - Othello 9 am and Warden 11 am; April 3, 2010, Grand Coulee North Dam Park 10 AM; April 17, 2020, Coulee City at 9 am and Soap Lake 11 am.

The Sixth Annual Columbia Basin Eco-Gardening Symposium was held in Moses Lake on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 9-1 PM at the Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center, 900 Yonezawa Blvd, Moses Lake.  The event is sponsored and organized by the Grant-Adams Master Gardeners and Grant County Conservation District.  The focus of the April 18,  2020 event will again be on gardening with speakers on mulching, pollinators, and common gardening challenges being solicited.

Othello Sandhill Crane Festival, March 20-22, 2020.

Moses Lake and Quincy Farmers Markets are held each Saturday, May - October and June-September, respectively. 

The Grant-Adams Master Gardeners are available to answer questions at the Moses Lake Farmers Markets.  Questions may also be sent to ga.mgvolunteers@ad.wsu.edu,  or called into the WSU Extension Office in Moses Lake (509) 754-2011 ext 4313. Samples for identification may also be dropped off the WSU Extension office Monday-Thursday 8-5 PM.

The Othello Community Museum is located at 3rd and Larch in Othello.  It features a large display of birds and local history. Contact Barb Caylor (509) 361-3192 for an appointment
